Hello! Glad you stopped by :) Do you have digestive or gut health challenges? Are you confused about all the options out there? Read on...I can help.
I was a curious but delicate child, often ill. I was always questioning and very independent of spirit, always wanting to understand things more deeply. That curiosity continued as I became an adult and searched for ways to live and love better, and to have better health. It lead me during the second half of my life to become a Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant (RHN) at age 54 so I could serve and help others to achieve better health.
It was just after the time I became an RHN that cancer visited me. A lifetime of stress, irregular eating, food sensitivities, irritable bowel symptoms and lack of knowledge of my own constitution, manifested in the ultimate wake up call. The cancer treatment destroyed my gut health, which had long been compromised in any event, and prompted my own research into restoring gut health. Within three months, through a four-step process using food and minimal supplements, my gut health was better than it had been my whole life.
At the same time I decided to implement an Ayurvedic lifestyle more fully, something I had studied in my earlier days at Maharishi International University. Ayurveda provides self knowledge and food freedom. My food sensitivities disappeared. I could finally enjoy eating without anxiety.
Through all of this, I discovered that the missing element in life is knowing how to care for oneself. My studies in Ayurveda made that clear. Rather than going through life on stressed autopilot, it's important to stop and listen deeply to our needs.
Now as an elder now, I take care of others who have digestive and gut health problems, through a combination or Western science and Ayurvedic lifestyle, by educating and guiding them in the areas of a healing food lifestyle, yoga breathwork and simple exercises, and and soul work as required to cultivate an inner life, so they can ultimately learn to take care of themselves in a holistic way.
